Number Magicby ~Morganne

I've had this old deck of Number Magic cards in my desk for a really long time, but never really wanted anything to do with them until recently. So.... self-portrait time! Im hoping to do portraits of my friends on some of the others.
Not entirely happy with the results; the face is a bit crooked, the hair turns green on the forehead (which I cant decide if I hate or think its nifty...<3) but I think it turned out well for freehandedness and a mirror-ref.

acrylic paint, Bic Mark-It, and a teal Prismacolor marker.

I actually like the green on the bangs! This could just be my fried retinas talking, but it draws a greenish hue out in parts of the eyes and details in the hair as well. While normally it might be like...ew, green, what? It actually makes for some really nice contrast!

For reals though, the reds and oranges here are absolutely gorgeous and sultry.

Also, I'd say the crookedness of the face gives it more personality. Static features aren't nearly as compelling as something with life!
